How to Put on Your Wig

1. Before installing, ensure your natural hair is neatly braided down and flat enough for the style you’ll be wearing.

2. Gently remove your wig from its box and take off all protective packaging.

3. Turn the wig upside down, place your fingers inside, gently stretch the sides, and guide it onto your head while it is still upside down.

4. Adjust the wig and the band so it sits comfortably in the correct position. If your unit has a parting, align it with the parting of your braids for the most natural look.

5. Use the adjustable straps inside the wig to secure and tighten it if needed. Style as desired.

Welcome to the OMH experience. Now enjoy your moment.

Wig Care Dos & Don’ts

Do

  • Store your wig on a mannequin head or safely in its bag or box to help maintain its shape
    and style.
  • Wash and condition your wig regularly, ideally every two weeks depending on product
    used.
  • Deep condition at least once every three weeks to keep the hair soft and hydrated.
  • Always use a heat protectant before applying any heat tools.
  • Detangle gently and only when necessary to maintain longevity.
  • Brush from the tips upwards to reduce shedding.
  • Use a paddle brush or wide-tooth comb for detangling.
  • Keep your wig stored safely and out of reach of children.
  • Ensure your natural hair underneath is neatly braided to allow the wig to lay flat.

Do Not

  • Apply too much product. Heavy buildup can weigh the hair down and dull its shine.
  • Use excessive direct heat on the lace or mesh cap,.
  • Place your wig on hot surfaces during deep conditioning.
  • Sleep or shower with your wig on where possible.
